Rick Ross Arrested In North Carolina After Performance
Rick Ross was arrested by North Carolina’s Greensboro Police Department on Friday night after his performance at the SuperJam…
Rick Ross and Young Jeezy were once embroiled in a pretty epic feud. However, the rappers have since put their differences behind them.
Who was to blame for their problems? According to Jeezy, the media is ultimately responsible for fueling the fires of war between himself and Rick Ross. Although Ross and the rapper have since worked things out, that doesn’t mean they’re willing to forgive the folks who helped create the problem.
According to MTV News, Jeezy open up about the feud with Rick Ross during a conversation with Sway. Although Ross hasn’t revealed many details about the situation, Jeezy was quick to point the finger of blame directly at the press.
He explained during his chat with Sway in the Morning:
“I never woke up for one minute like, I don’t rock with that man… The media told me, by the way. The naysayers told me. I didn’t know that. It was never no moment where we was somewhere and something didn’t go right… It was just music, people getting things misconstrued.”
Rick Ross’ former rival added:
“It was just two grown individuals that getting money, that clearly are bosses, never sat down and had a real conversation. I knew once me and homie saw each other or was in the same room, we was gonna get some type of clarification, and that’s what happened. Just like grown men. We both getting money. What’s the problem?”
To prove that they’ve since put everything behind them, Jeezy and Rick Ross teamed up for the track “War Ready.” If you’re at all curious to experience the fruits of their labor, then check out the music video embedded below. Warning: Salty language lies ahead, so proceed with extreme caution if you’re at work.
“You gotta understand, with me it’s nothing personal. I’m a hands-on-type dude. I’m better with my hands than I am at making music. So it’s not personal, but if I see Young Jeezy again, will I try to choke him? I don’t know that’s an option. If I see 50 Cent, is it personal? Not at all, but it’s an option.”
Are you glad Rick Ross and Young Jeezy have put their differences aside?
