Bobby Shmurda might be facing some serious legal trouble, after he and members of his GS9 were reportedly arrested in New York City early on Wednesday morning (Dec. 17).
KarenCivil.com reports that the Brooklyn rapper, born Ackquille Pollard, was arrested at Quad Studios near Times Square, and numerous unspecified weapons were seized by police as he was taken into custody.
Members of his entourage, including Epic Records executive Sha Money XL — who signed Shmurda back in July — were allegedly apprehended as well.
MTV News reached out to the NYPD for confirmation, but they wouldn’t comment on the incident at press time. We also reached out to Epic Records, who had no comment.
