RIP to Hussein Fatal

This is sad news that I am posting, as Hussein Fatal of the Outlawz was killed in a car crash….He was a good personal friend to me, and an even better person….I will touch on this more later, from the report:

Veteran Montclair, New Jersey MC Hussein Fatal (born Bruce Washington) has died. A founding member of Tha Outlawz, Fatal was reportedly killed in a recent automobile accident. Details surrounding the fatal crash are still pending. Tha Outlawz’ official social media accounts have confirmed the tragic news, also addressing Fatal’s surviving loved ones.

38 year-old Hussein Fatal released four solo albums, three Outlawz efforts, and three works with band-mate Young Noble. Fatal, as he was also known, famously appeared on 2Pac’s “Hit ‘Em Up” diss to The Notorious B.I.G., Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, and Mobb Deep. Following Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder, Fatal would part ways with Death Row Records—reportedly refusing to sign with his band-mates (omitting him from 1999’s Still I Rise album). Fatal eventually signed a solo deal with Relativity, and later affiliate Rap-A-Lot Records. Hussein’s 1998 debut, In The Line Of Fire, featured Freddie Foxxx, The Artifacts’ Tame One, and Mac Mall. The effort was a Top 50 debut on the charts. In the 2000s, Fatal would align with collaborator Ja Rule and Murda Inc. Records.

In the 2000s, Fatal re-joined Tha Outlawz’ E.D.I. Mean and Young Noble, to release a series of projects.

Including Tupac, Hussein Fatal is the third member of the group to die. Yaki Kadafi (Yafeu Akiyele Fula) also of Montclair, was murdered in 1996, following Shakur’s death.

Ambrosia For Heads extends condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Hussein Fatal, as well as Tha Outlawz.
