Big Sean’s “Dark Sky Paradise” sells 139,000 copies in the first week, his first #1 album.
Big Sean has finally secured his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart…
Michael Barber was a headlining of the Mesker Fest a music festival in his hometown of Evansville, Indiana, and Barber was able to bring in some special guests including Buffalo Stille of the multi-platinum selling rap group, Nappy Roots. Barber also brought in his Deadly Combo album partner, Matty Moe, and Louisville MC, Renzo St. Charles.
Barber and Matty Moe recently released Deadly Combo in March on Barber’s label and the album went on to chart at #66 on Itunes. Renzo St. Charles and the Nappy Roots rhymer, B.Stille both featured on the album.
Mesker Fest was a major event in the southern Indiana area that featured 51 bands. The event was put on to help save the Mesker Music Amphitheatre, a local Evansville out door music venue.
“It was a great event, and I hope that I did my part to help raise some money and we had a great time. It’s my hometown so I had to bring some guests with me. Matt and Renzo killed it, and B.Stille is a one of a kind performer. It was a great time, and felt good to be back in my hometown performing.” Micheal Barber who is the highest selling hip hop artist from the state of Indiana told us via his email.
